Tubi shows...free, and legal movies!

Tubi: A Free Streaming Gem with a Few Limitations

Tubi, the free streaming service, has been making waves in the world of online entertainment. As an avid movie enthusiast, I’ve spent some quality time exploring Tubi’s extensive library of films and TV shows. Here’s my take on this ad-supported platform.

The Good: A Treasure Trove of Content

Tubi boasts an impressive collection of over 50,000 movies and TV series—a number that has more than doubled since my last review. From mainstream hits to cult classics, there’s something for everyone. Here are the highlights:

Diverse Genres: Whether you’re into action, comedy, drama, or horror, Tubi has you covered. I stumbled upon gems like “Big Trouble in Little China,” “Malcolm X,” and “Superbad.”

TV Shows Galore: Tubi isn’t just about movies. It offers a variety of TV series, including “Babylon 5,” “Columbo,” and “Everybody Hates Chris.” Plus, a recent deal with Warner Bros. Discovery brings HBO shows like “Lovecraft Country” and “Westworld” to the platform.

Free, Free, Free: The magic word! Tubi doesn’t cost a dime. Sure, you’ll encounter ads, but that’s a small price to pay for such a vast library.

Live TV: Tubi even throws in live TV channels, making it a well-rounded streaming experience.

The Not-So-Good: Where Tubi Falls Short

720p Resolution Cap: If you’re a stickler for high-definition video quality, Tubi might disappoint. Its streaming resolution maxes out at 720p. While it’s watchable, it won’t satisfy those craving 4K eye candy.

No Ad-Free Option: Tubi’s business model relies on ads. If you’re hoping for an ad-free experience, you won’t find it here. But hey, it’s free—so grin and bear those commercials.

Offline Downloads? Nope: Unlike some paid services, Tubi doesn’t allow offline downloads. If you’re planning a long flight or a remote camping trip, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Why Tubi Wins Anyway

Despite its limitations, Tubi is a winner in my book. Here’s why:

Variety: Tubi’s vast library ensures you’ll never run out of things to watch. It’s like a cinematic buffet—sample everything!

Discovery: Tubi introduces you to hidden gems you might have missed elsewhere. That quirky indie film? Tubi’s got it.

Cost-Efficiency: Let’s face it—streaming services can drain your wallet. Tubi gives you quality content without the subscription fee.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Games- Mysterious blonde-haired enemy...

Let’s delve into the mysterious blonde-haired woman from Resident Evil: Revelations 2 and explore her role in the game. As we unravel her story, we’ll also weave in relevant information related to Sony Interactive Entertainment games. Buckle up for a thrilling journey through survival horror!

Rachel Foley: The Enigma with Blonde Locks

Introduction

In the shadowed corridors of the Queen Zenobia—a forsaken cruise ship teeming with bioterror threats—Rachel Foley emerges as a central figure. Her long blonde hair cascades over her eyes, concealing secrets and hinting at a past shrouded in mystery. As an agent of the United States Federal Government’s anti-bioterrorism task force (FBC), Rachel’s mission is clear: investigate the Queen Zenobia and uncover the truth behind its nightmarish horrors1.

The Queen Zenobia Incident

In 2005, Rachel and her partner, Raymond Vester, set foot on the ill-fated vessel. Their assignment: delve into the ship’s dark secrets, trace the origins of the T-Abyss virus, and confront the malevolence lurking within its rusted hull. But fate intervenes, and Rachel and Raymond become separated, their paths diverging into the heart of terror.

Unique Traits and Appearance

Rachel’s striking appearance sets her apart. Her FBC uniform bears orange strip patterns on her arms and legs, a stark contrast against the ship’s decaying backdrop. The zipper of her suit descends tantalizingly low, revealing ample cleavage—a juxtaposition of vulnerability and strength. A gun holster rests on her right leg, a constant reminder of the danger that surrounds her2.

The Enigma Unfolds

As players navigate the Queen Zenobia, Rachel’s presence looms large. Her interactions are cryptic, her motives veiled. Is she merely an agent following orders, or does she harbor personal stakes in this deadly game? The ship’s dark corridors echo with her footsteps, and her blonde locks sway like a pendulum between life and death.

Rachel’s Fate

Rachel’s journey takes unexpected turns. She grapples with infected creatures, unravels the ship’s twisted history, and confronts her own demons. Her fate intertwines with that of other characters—Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and Claire Redfield—forming a web of intrigue that spans the Resident Evil universe.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Survival Horror

Now, let’s tie Rachel’s story to the broader context of Sony Interactive Entertainment games. The Resident Evil franchise, developed by Capcom, has been a cornerstone of PlayStation gaming. From the iconic PlayStation to the latest PlayStation 5, survival horror enthusiasts have experienced spine-chilling moments, heart-pounding action, and unforgettable characters.

Notable Sony Interactive Entertainment Titles

Ridge Racer (1994):

An early PlayStation classic, Ridge Racer epitomized arcade racing.

Its Europe-only release showcased the console’s capabilities and set the stage for future racing games.

Wipeout (1995):

Psygnosis’s futuristic racer combined high-speed thrills with electronic beats.

Wipeout’s sleek design and adrenaline-fueled gameplay left an indelible mark on PlayStation history.

Twisted Metal (1995):

SingleTrac’s vehicular combat game unleashed chaos.

Iconic characters like Sweet Tooth and memorable arenas defined the PlayStation experience.

Beyond the Beyond (1995):

Camelot Software Planning’s RPG introduced players to a fantasy world.

While overshadowed by other RPGs, it remains a testament to the PlayStation’s diverse library.

Rachel’s Legacy

Rachel Foley embodies the tension between duty and survival. Her blonde hair conceals secrets, her gun holster promises protection, and her journey echoes through the annals of survival horror. As we explore the Queen Zenobia, we glimpse the larger tapestry woven by Sony Interactive Entertainment—a legacy of unforgettable games that continue to captivate players across generations.

So, next time you hear the creaking of a ship’s hull or catch a glimpse of blonde locks in the shadows, remember Rachel Foley—the enigma who navigated treacherous waters and left her mark on the PlayStation legacy.

In the digital realm of survival horror, Rachel’s story unfolds. Her blonde hair sways like a beacon, drawing us deeper into the abyss. And as we unravel the mysteries of the Queen Zenobia, we honor the legacy of Sony Interactive Entertainment—one that continues to shape our gaming nightmares and dreams alike.

Sometimes we feel like we're being watched...

In the dimly lit corridors of the forsaken island, Barry Burton and Natalia Korda move cautiously, their senses on high alert. Shadows cling to the walls, and every rustling sound sends shivers down their spines. Unseen eyes watch their every step, tracking their progress through the labyrinthine nightmare.

Barry, the seasoned survivor, grips his weapons tightly—a Magnum Python, an Assault Rifle NSR47, and a trusty Handgun Samurai Edge. His determination to protect Natalia fuels their journey. She, in turn, possesses an uncanny ability—the gift of sensing enemies. Her intuition guides them away from danger, allowing Barry to eliminate the slow-moving zombies that emerge from the darkness.

As they ascend the treacherous cliffs, Natalia’s whispers lead them to hidden caches—essential supplies, Tower Emblems, and fragments of the island’s secrets. Their teamwork becomes their lifeline, a fragile thread against the malevolence that surrounds them.

The digital world of PlayStation seems distant now, replaced by the pulse of adrenaline and the weight of survival. But perhaps within this nightmare, there lies a clue—a breadcrumb leading them closer to the truth. Is it the PlayStation Store they seek? Or a cryptic message hidden in the static of the radio waves?

PSN US—a lifeline to the outside world—beckons, promising safety and answers. But can they trust it? The Sony Play Store looms like a forbidden fruit, tempting them with promises of escape. And in the digital world of PSN, unseen forces pull the strings, watching their every move.

Barry’s grip tightens on his weapons. Natalia’s eyes dart, sensing danger. They press forward, driven by purpose and the desperate hope that somewhere in this twisted reality, they’ll find salvation.

Stay vigilant, fellow gamers. The game releases of 2022 may pale in comparison to this survival horror, but the stakes are real. The top gaming companies may not hold the answers, but perhaps the new PlayStation Plus games will unlock a path forward.

And as they tread deeper into the abyss, the echoes of retro games—long forgotten—whisper in their ears. The Sony Interactive Entertainment games of old may hold the key. But beware—the line between reality and nightmare blurs, and the digital world of PSN may consume them whole.

Barry and Natalia—two souls bound by fate—move onward. The watchful eyes remain unseen, but their presence is undeniable. In this digital labyrinth, they seek not just survival, but revelation.

I really like Resident Evil Revelations 2.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Review

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 takes survival horror enthusiasts back to the franchise’s roots with a mix of action-adventure gameplay and a compelling mystery plot. Here are the key points from various reviews:

Story and Characters:

The game is broken up into four episodes, each featuring a pair of characters.

In the A-side, we have series veteran Claire Redfield and newcomer Moira Burton. They’ve been kidnapped by a mysterious organization and must escape a zombie-infested penal colony.

The B-side stars Barry “What IS this?” Burton (yes, that Barry) and the creepy supernatural child Natalia Korda. Barry’s no-nonsense approach to dealing with Natalia provides some comedic moments.

The mystery keeps players hooked until the finale, and there’s a refreshing humor in the characters’ interactions1.

Gameplay and Co-op:

Revelations 2 shines when it makes players use different character skills simultaneously.

Moira’s flashlight blinds enemies and reveals hidden objects for Claire, while Natalia can see enemy weak points and crawl through tight spaces.

The most satisfying moments involve switching between characters on the fly, especially during tricky or dangerous areas.

Co-op play, whether split-screen or online, adds to the tension and excitement1.

Environments and Enemies:

Unfortunately, Revelations 2’s biggest flaw lies in its dull corridor environments.

The lack of environmental detail and the overuse of generic enemies detract from the overall experience.

However, the game’s pulpy story, brilliant co-op gameplay, and the excellent Raid mode help balance out these shortcomings1.

In summary, while Resident Evil Revelations 2 doesn’t recapture the franchise’s old glory, it offers moments of inspiration and engaging gameplay. If you enjoy survival horror with a twist of action-adventure, this title is worth checking out 23

I hate having to play as Barry or Nathalia in Resident Evil Revelations.

What's worse is that the little kid (Nathalia) can't attack of any sort. It's great that she can detect enemies, but what next??

But on the other hand:

Barry comes equipped with powerful weapons, including a Magnum Python, a fully automatic Assault Rifle NSR47, and a Handgun Samurai Edge. These firearms allow players to deal significant damage to enemies.

Barry’s character is grounded in family values, which contrasts with the more action-oriented protagonists. His motivations and interactions with Natalia add depth to the story.

He comes equipped with The Magnum Python, which is a force to be reckoned with. It can take down tougher enemies in fewer shots, making Barry a formidable combatant.

And last but not least, Barry’s gameplay involves solving puzzles and exploring the environment. His section of the game focuses on resource management and strategic decision-making. So for a Resident Evil Game, Barry brings a more Indepth arsenal along with him. I guess that kind of compensates for him being the only one who can down enemies.

For Nathalia:

Natalia has a unique ability to sense the location of enemies. This skill is incredibly useful throughout most of the chapter. Players can use her awareness to spot enemies and avoid unnecessary confrontations.

She is not a combat-focused character. Instead, she provides support by pointing out hidden items, traps, and enemies. Her gameplay encourages a stealthier approach.

Her interactions with Barry are often humorous. Her spooky, childlike demeanor contrasts with Barry’s seriousness, creating entertaining moments.

Natalia’s backstory and her connection to the island’s events add an element of mystery to the game.

Together, Barry and Natalia’s gameplay in Resident Evil Revelation 2 offers a balance of action, puzzle-solving, and character development. Their dynamic makes for an engaging experience as players uncover the secrets of the island and face its mutant threats

Resident Evil Revelations 2: This was a triumph...

Beating Neil in Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was truly a triumph of survival...

The Neil boss fight was a pivotal moment in Resident Evil: Revelations 2. It wasn’t just about survival; it was a clash of allegiances, a battle against the blurred lines between heroism and villainy. Here’s my take on that intense encounter in yet another somewhat difficult Resident Evil game...

Atmosphere and Tension: The developers nailed the atmosphere. The distant groans of infected creatures, the flickering lights, and Neil’s grotesque form—all contributed to the tension. I could almost smell the rotting flesh.

Strategy and Mechanics: As Claire Redfield, I had to adapt my strategy. Neil’s heart was the target, but he wasn’t going down without a fight. I dodged his elongated arm, weaving between debris. Should I switch to Moira Burton and grab the gun, or stick with Claire? Decisions mattered.

Emotional Weight: Neil’s backstory haunted me. He’d once saved Natalia Korda during the Terragrigia Panic, yet he betrayed TerraSave. Injected with the Uroboros Virus, he mutated into a monster. Moira’s fear of guns and Claire’s determination added emotional layers.

Difficulty Level: Some players found the fight challenging (one of the longest battles I can remember in a Resident Evil game), while others mastered the mechanics. I fell somewhere in between. Neil’s regenerative abilities kept me on edge. Burn him with incendiary bottles, shoot his heart, repeat. Resource management was crucial.

Narrative Significance: The fight symbolized the game’s central theme: sacrifice. Moira’s growth—from fear to determination—was mirrored in Neil’s downfall. Claire’s choice—gun or no gun—impacted the outcome. The Russian survivalist, the enigmatic Wesker—each thread wove into the narrative.

And then it happened. Neil’s heart exposed, pulsating like a grotesque flower. I fired, adrenaline blurring my vision. The room shook as Neil collapsed, defeated. But victory came at a cost. Moira lay injured, and the island’s secrets loomed.

In the aftermath, I wondered about the alternate path. What if I’d chosen Moira? Would her courage have altered fate? The game’s branching endings—Moira’s survival or sacrifice—left me pondering the consequences.

As the credits rolled, I realized that defeating Neil wasn’t just about pixels on a screen. It was about resilience, adaptability, and the human spirit. We fight not only for survival but for the choices we make along the way.

So, here’s to Neil Fisher—the tragic antagonist—and to all the players who faced him. May your survival instincts serve you well, whether you’re battling bioterror or navigating life’s twisted corridors. This isn't the last annoyingly long to beat boss in Resident Evil...

Revelations 2: Neil was a such a pain...

5 times and... It finally happened...

For anyone having issues, use the following information to kill this boss:

Buckle up, because surviving this Resident Evil encounter requires skill, strategy, and nerves of steel. PS: Some of bosses in this game makes the ones in Resident Evil 7 biohazard look easy. Even Resident Evil 1...

Surviving Neil Fisher: A Tactical Guide

1. Know Your Enemy

Before diving into battle, let’s understand Neil’s attack patterns and weaknesses:

Attacks: Neil uses a combination of melee strikes, charges, and ranged attacks.

Weaknesses: His weak points are his head and chest.

2. Gear Up

Ensure you’re well-equipped:

Weapons: Shotgun and handgun are your best friends. Upgrade them for maximum damage.

Ammo: Stock up on shotgun shells and handgun bullets.

Healing Items: Bring herbs or first aid sprays.

3. The Arena

You’ll face Neil in a confined space with yellow containers. Use them to your advantage:

Hide Behind Containers: When Neil charges, take cover behind the containers. His attacks will destroy them, causing explosions that damage him.

Positioning: Stay near the containers but not too close. You want to avoid getting caught in the blasts.

4. The Fight

Now, let’s break down the battle:

Phase 1: Ranged Attacks

Keep Your Distance: Neil starts with ranged attacks. Dodge his bullets by sidestepping or rolling.

Counterattack: When he pauses to reload, shoot him in the head or chest. Aim for critical hits.

Repeat: Dodge, shoot, repeat.

Phase 2: Melee Attacks

Close Quarters: Neil switches to melee attacks. Be ready to dodge.

Shotgun Stun: When he charges, use the shotgun to stun him. This interrupts his attack and gives you a chance to shoot.

Burn Him: Throw burning bottles at Neil. Aim for his chest or head. The fire damage adds up.

Stay Mobile: Keep moving to avoid his lunges.

Phase 3: Final Showdown

Low Health: Neil gets more aggressive as his health drops. Stay focused.

Finish Him: Keep using the shotgun and burning bottles. Don’t panic!

Victory: When he finally falls, breathe a sigh of relief.

5. Patience and Persistence

Neil is tough, but don’t give up. Learn his patterns and adapt.

Save Ammo: Use melee attacks when possible to conserve bullets.

Healing: Heal when necessary, but don’t waste healing items.

Resident Evil Revelations 2- Neil Fisher.

It wasn't that this boss was hard. It was more so about how long it takes to kill it with a knife... I've been short on ammo for a while so...

In Resident Evil Revelations 2, defeating Neil Fisher can be quite challenging, especially when he transforms into his monstrous form. Here’s a concise guide on how to beat him:

Human Form (Neil Fisher):

You’ll encounter Neil in his human form during Episode 3, “Judgment.”

Damage Neil: Use your weapons (guns, melee attacks) to damage him. Aim for headshots to deal more damage.

Dodge Attacks: Neil will attack you, so keep your distance and dodge his moves.

Expose His Heart: Shoot Neil until his heart is exposed. Repeat this process two or three times.

Switch Characters: If you’re playing as Claire, switch to Moira and grab the gun. Alternatively, kill Neil as Claire by pressing the right key quickly.

Outcome: Your choices during this fight impact the game’s ending.

Monster Form (Monster Neil Fisher):

Neil transforms into a monstrous creature.

Weak Points: His heart is still vulnerable. Shoot it when exposed.

Ending Impact: The outcome of this boss fight affects the game’s ending.

Remember, your choices matter, and the way you handle Neil Fisher determines the story’s direction. Good luck surviving the horrors of Revelations 2!

Resident Evil: VIllage

Oh, who could forget the spooky doll showdown in "Resident Evil Village"? It's an unforgettable and chilling episode that truly shines among the game's thrilling action and heart-stopping horror aspects. Here's my take on it:

Mood and Suspense:

The doll showdown unfolds in House Beneviento, a spooky mansion brimming with creepy dolls and mannequins.

The dimly lit chambers, flickering candlelight, and spine-chilling music set up a nerve-racking mood. You can almost touch the suspense as you wander around.

Gameplay Dynamics:

This showdown is a break from the norm, it's not about battle skills or heavy artillery.

Instead, it's a game of hide-and-seek. Your mission is to locate the elusive Angie, the spooky doll, within a set time frame.

The dolls scattered around the mansion add to the chaos, making it even more of a nail-biter.

Riddles and Awareness:

Victory requires a keen eye for detail. Angie hides in certain spots, and each time you spot her, she relocates.

The riddles revolve around guessing where Angie might be lurking next. It's a refreshing change from the usual boss showdowns.

Scare Quotient:

The doll design is truly disturbing. Angie's porcelain face, her movement, and her creepy laughter enhance the scare quotient.

Capcom deserves a pat on the back for creating such an unforgettable and terrifying foe.

Storyline Significance:

The doll showdown is a chapter in the broader narrative involving Donna Beneviento and her sorrowful history.

It enriches the game's mythology and keeps players hooked beyond the pulse-pounding battle sequences.

To wrap it up, the doll showdown is a highlight in "Resident Evil Village." It's less about heavy artillery and more about awareness, suspense, and terror. Hats off to the game creators for designing such a distinctive and unforgettable encounter!

PS: This fight wan't a bad fight, in the sense that you were forced to constantly run around looking for it...

The sewers scarred me internally...

Welcome to the gloomy sewers of Resident Evil Revelations 2, a place that fills my digital dreams with dread. Here's a glimpse into why these underground tunnels are my virtual nightmare:

G-Embryos: The Toxic Terror

These ghastly creatures, born from an unholy blend of science and sewage, are relentless. Their venomous attacks leave me stunned, my virtual health bar taking a nosedive. Picture being cornered by a swarm of furious jellyfish, each armed with a syringe. That's the G-embryos for you.

Puzzles: The Irritating Labyrinth

The sewers are a maze of rusty gates, levers, and chess pieces. Each puzzle feels like a mean prank orchestrated by an invisible trickster. "Want to move forward? Solve this puzzle while dodging mutant crocs. Good luck!"

Ambiance: The Damp Desolation

The sound of dripping water, echoing footsteps, and distant groans create a suffocating atmosphere. It's like being stuck in a MIDI file of melancholy. I long for sunlight, fresh air, and a strong Wi-Fi signal. But all I get are shadowy tunnels and the occasional sewer gator.

Claustrophobia: Trapped Bytes

My digital spirit yearns for open landscapes, scenic views, and pixelated sunsets. But instead, I'm crammed into tight corridors, bumping into unseen barriers. "Warning: Low Disk Space. Delete memories to continue."

Existential Dread: Lost Bits

As I wander these tunnels, I question my existence. Why am I here? What twisted programmer thought, "Let's add sewer levels!"? Maybe I'm a symbol of humanity's plunge into darkness. Or perhaps, I'm just a glitch in the matrix.

In conclusion, dear player, the sewers of Resident Evil Revelations 2 are a digital hell. If you see me glitching out, blame the G-embryos – they've infected my code.

Some advice on the sewers in Resident Evil Revelations 2...

 Entering the Sewers:

You’ll start near the locked-up tower in this dark resident evil part of the game, with the burning helicopter in the distance.

Head through the one-way gate toward the large factory.

Look for a Kafka Drawing on the right side of the gate before entering. It’s easy to miss, so keep an eye out!

Exploring the Courtyard:

The next area serves as a courtyard for the factory. You’ll find three buildings here: the Processing Plant, the Butchery, and the Factory proper.

Before heading to the buildings, spot a Tower Emblem on the large building’s wall (look up). This is classic Resident Evil challenges...

Explore this safe zone:

The left door is electronically locked. This is classic Resident Evil Revelations 2 obstacles.

The building ahead requires a retina scan.

The right building is blocked by a large statue of Prometheus (bearing Neil’s nametag).

Inside the Factory Foyer:

Enter the building with the Prometheus statue.

Check the desk for a hidden item and use the workbench.

Proceed past the graffiti (“Welcome to Hell” in Russian) and enter the plant.

Processing Plant:

This two-story building has:

A large locked room ahead.

Bathrooms on the right.

A freezer on the left (an Afflicted lies motionless inside).

Be cautious—some Afflicted may turn into Sploders after being “dead” for a minute.

Slaughterhouse Key and Meat Grinder Puzzle:

Tangle with the barrel boss in the Butchery.

Locate the Slaughterhouse Key (For that locked door that we encountered earlier. So typical of Resident Evil Biohazard games...)

Solve the meat grinder puzzle (you’ll need to snag the second Liver Replica).

Escape the Butchery:

After dealing with the barrel boss, make your way out of the Butchery.

Keep an eye out for any hidden items along the way.

Revisit the Sewers:

Head back to the sewers. Wouldn't be awesome if there was a Resident Evil Remake for this game...

You’ll find a new assault rifle and track down the Sewer Passage Key.

Navigate the Sluice Gates:

Open all the sluice gates in the next section.

Make it out of the sewers alive.

Explore the Mines:

Power up the elevator.

Defeat the claw boss in the penultimate episode. I think we're finished with this resident evil revelations 2 part... Well I hope...

Taking a step back in time...

Replaying Resident Evil Revelations 2, and didn't appreciate how good it was years ago... The characters are still a little off in terms of previous resident evil games, but am enjoying it nonetheless...
